Deeply rooted in this boot is eminent grip and an all-conditions waterproof membrane.
Mesh and perforated sides promote natural airflow around the foot so that you avoid a case of clammy feet on your walk, and synthetic overlays prevent your feet from taking knocks on rocky trails.
Unlike ordinary synthetic textiles like nylon, GORE-TEX stops rain from getting in but lets perspiration out, keeping sweat to a minimum. Less sweat means less friction and therefore less risk of blisters.
By lacing the boot close to the foot using the lace closure system, this will minimise shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
The EVA cushioning provides a spongy platform between small sharp rocks on surfaces and your underfoot, absorbing shock instantly and effectively. The EVA footbed is extremely firm and energy produced from this will also be bounced away from your foot. A moulded sock liner sits comfortably against the skin and provides additional underfoot comfort.
Lastly, outsole cutouts have been used to reduce the overall weight of the shoe and to provide multi-directional grip.
